"The Road I'm On," my first solo CD, is a collection of original songs inspired by life experiences and the relationships with my wife and children. "Savannah Doesn't Need You" is a ballad I wrote when my wife-to-be Sherri and I were dating. She was living in Savannah and I was living in Atlanta and the song was an attempt to convince her that she needed to move back to her home town to be with me. Obviously it worked! (at least I like to think it was the song that did it). "The Life of a Child" was written for my children Ian and Andrew and expresses my desire to return to the simplicity of childhood. Frank French and I co-wrote "I Praise You My Merciful God," a song of adoration to the Creator of mankind. I play acoustic guitar on all the tracks and Frank plays just about everything else. What a talent!
